Isn't Miriam O'Callaghan very popular as a talk show host in Ireland?

She is yeah but she's a bit full of herself. Claire Byrne is a political Commentator and has her own show but she comes across as a really good interviewer. If it was my choice I'd pick her all day over Miriam.

If you watched the Gay Byrne Late Late Special, Miriam spent the night trying her best to be noticed so she’d be asked for her input.

I remember seeing it. Ryan was talking to someone in the row in front of her and she was doing her best to try and get him to talk to her. There was even several times where she nearly had her mouth open to speak. That's what really made me go off her.

Have VM quietly dumped the News on Two bulletin at 10pm or has it been dropped in a I'm a Celeb related scheduling move?

The 10pm News on Two remains, if you check the VM schedules you will see it is back on Friday.

The Late Late Toy Show has the theme of Disney's Frozen II tonight. It has included the RTÉ Sport desk added with tinsel from Studio 5.

RTÉ have launched their trailers for The Late Late Toy Show & The Late Late Toy Show Unwrapped this week.

There appears to be no change to their Christmas presentation graphics this year.

Although this year's slogan has changed to "Now; You're Home".

Do you have any idea how Ryan Tubridy will continue as host? He said a few years back that his tenure will be close in length to Pat Kenny's, but he surpassed Pat's ten year tenure, I wonder how long he will stay there, and how many more Toy Shows he will do?

I can see him going for the 15 or maybe even 20 year mark. Then I think he will call it a day. Don't know who could replace him but. Personally I can't stand Ray Darcy and in the current climate its probably likely they will pick a woman so I'm guessing it would be Claire Byrne

I think Claire Byrne will be the next host too. Don't think it'll be long until Ryan goes. A few years maybe 5 max.

RTÉ have launched their Christmas idents today. Same ones as the last few years. I do wish they would create some new ones especially for RTE 1.

I presume they decided to launch them with the Toy Show yesterday.

I suppose it wouldn't be too bad seeing another Byrne at the helm of the show again lol

RTE have gone down the path of ITV from 2013 to 2018 who simply reused their 2013 batch, but ITV did add one or two extra ones now and again.

It all comes down to money for RTE, especially after the financial report announced last month by their director general.

One was certainly used before the Toy Show last night, but I cannot vouch that it wasn’t used before that.
