Hurricane Frances is tearing through the Bahamas right now, and is expected to hit the east coast of Florida sometime between Friday night and Saturday afternoon.

The weather forecasters (at least the better ones) are all admitting that they just plain don't know right now. They're talking extensively about a "cone of uncertainty" in terms of exactly where it will come ashore.

My current list of live feeds include:

WESH-TV/DT Orlando/Daytona Beach (RP): http://mfile.akamai.com/7883/live/reflector:24028.ram
WSVN-TV/DT Miami (WMP): http://216.242.118.140/windowsmedia/asx/wsvn_broadband.asx
WTVJ-TV/DT Miami: http://nbc6.feedroom.com/iframeset.jsp?ord=381015
WPLG-TV/DT Miami (RP): http://mfile.akamai.com/8660/live/reflector:23941.ram

I only came back from Florida on Saturday. I saw the destruction of Hurricane Charley - can't imagine what Frances will do

I had someone asking about him on MSN Messenger earlier tonight. He's still up to his old tricks.

It's refreshing to not watch WSVN and see what the other stations are doing... one of the female anchors kept cracking inappropriate jokes while her co-anchor simply avoided putting his foot in his mouth.

I visted Miami a few years ago and I share your feeling about WSVN. Right now I'm watching WESH 2 and the storm is just really starting to hit.

Anybody else glued to the coverage besides me?

Currently watching WTVJ (NBC) via the feedroom site - brilliant coverage. Also have the CBS feed streaming as well, however I'm finding myself with NBC6, due to them havings loads of reporters and generally having a good live coverage.

Off topic... I think. Where do you get these live feeds from. I would like to know, because I'm intrigued about American tv. Doesn't really bother me if you do or don't know, or can't be bothered to tell me.
