How much ridiculous movement do the French TV company who are producing this coverage need within a tennis court? Spinning views above the player, tilted shots of the crowd, a TV attached to a zip line which nearly knocks Tim out it gets so close, merging pictures of the courts crowd with a picture of Tim in the sky - it's all too much, and I seriously feel pissed after watching 30 minutes of it! It's like watching CDUK.

So glad we've got quality TV sports coverage here.

I really liked the zip line camera- some really good shots....and as for knocking Tim's head off- that's called zoom Rolling Eyes

But yes the cheap fades to sky and antique-y fades into clay were all a bit OTT

I actually really liked it. But I'm used to it. I'm always watching eurosport coverage of tennis and the european tv companies always tend to have arty shots.

I like the bit where the players apparently sign the camera lens at the end, and the signature then flips round, so you can read it (as much as you can read most signatures).

My dad was getting really annoyed by that camera shot that kept sweeping past the geraniums! lol!

There were some good shots, but I think we do a bit better with Wimbledon and Stella - after all - we have a cherry picker and not a dodgy camera on a wire!
