Yes I have also noticed the change in music going into and out of the break, will there be a new theme tune for the opening titles tonight.

It's a shame it wasn't a total re-work of music and/or titles for tonight (especially since there are so many other changes today...ITV1/3, five, Challenge).......I quite like the re-worked music for the breaks - the full version might sound quite nice - they must have made one - maybe someone "in the know" could track a copy down Laughing

Well I like it.......seems to be more than just a simple re-work - they have changed the main chord (from my simple musical knowledge it sounds like they have removed one of the notes.........maybe someone with some knowledge on the subject can tell me).

Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed Nice shot of the character Carl after!!! Embarassed Embarassed

The notes are all in there, but it has different phrasing.

Yes Carl is a lovely looking fella. So I suppose a " Embarassed " is in order.

That sounds absolutely greateliaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas!
Ignore that bit.
Anyway, that sounds dramatic to me and it'll be great when the new titles come.

Coronation Street and EastEnders both seem to have "frozen" theme tunes - I doubt they'll ever change!

EastEnders has had afew re-works of it's theme tune, but the current one has been around for quite some time. I particularly liked the "Jazzy" version, but that was ditched after 6 months or so because of viewer complains that it wasn't "cockney" enough sounding.....those bl**dy Londoners Smile

EastEnders has only really had 2 reworkings (though the original changed sligtly in 1991 when they made it stereo). The unpopular Jazzy version, and the current one.
