How about Wednesdays & Thursdays at 8pm on ITV 1 ! Laughing

Just struck me. Remember that drama doc about Judge George Corman, the one who was either defending or procesuting Gillian Taylforth over her libel action with The Sun & her 'A1' incident?

Remember who played Taylforth in the doc? It was Lisa Maxwell !

Guess which show both Maxwell & Taylforth are regulars in thesedays?

lol, Laughing I was watching 'Hollyoaks', and they made a reference to 'Lost', and I was lyk: "Try putting on Channel Four a little earlier, 'n' u may be a tiny bit surprised!" :p!

On D.S. they are blaming the producers for getting their own back on Pauline for her crititism of the producers. They are upset that she didn't get the stringed theme tune, whatever that is, I'm not a regular watcher! Is that hte one from 1993.?

Oh is there anyway we can get the muppets who write the scripts just to read the comments on this thread?!

The show is certainly an embarrassment to the former avid fan now. God knows why people still continue to watch this tripe. Hopefully the Christmas episodes (with families watching together etc) have finally made people realise how bad it has actually got.

I can only think that if this show continues, it will just revolve around Sharon Watts' emotional leaving and arriving acts all the time. Rolling Eyes

Bye bye Wendy, bye bye EastEnders.

Right I've just got this from ds as i think some of you lot have missed the plot too....

I've read a few threads on Pauline's exit and how dull it was but this is actually a murder mystery (hence the Cluedo box at the begining of the first episode, amongst the Fowler memrobillia). When Pauline shouted to the ''taxi driver'' when there was a knck at the door, it was in fact not the taxi driver but the culprit who had the showdown with Pauline and injured her so much that she collapsed of brain injuries.

Sonia is just a smoke screen and will be blamed because of Rebecca's spying. The person who grievously attacked Pauline will be revealed soon.

Nah, it's ok thanks, I'll stick with Emmerdale for my murder mysteries.

Personally, I thought the treatment of Wendy Richard has been disgraceful. She's been the cornerstone of the show since it began, and because she didn't like the writing and wanted to leave, her character has been twisted into something evil.

Well, I hope those petty minded writing monkeys and bitter executive producers are happy.

That episode was the nail in the coffin of the show as far as I'm concerned.

My problem with EastEnders' Christmas episode was that it was poorly written, and poorly executed garbage. Nothing to do with any murder mystery (that theory is crap anyway because if it were true then Pauline would have looked like she had just been attacked, not walking across the square normally as if she were just taking the dog for a walk).

I mean really Banks.

I'm in complete agreement with you.

Great Eastenders continuity again:

End of Xmas Day episode: snow falls and settles

Boxing Day episode: Not a sign of any snow / slush!!

I agree about the Episode not being up to the normal Standard EastEnders set for Episodes such as this but i don't think many people realised what kind of plot this is turning out to be,I know who the killer is and if they write it the right way it could be great.

I'm going to try and find out just when Diederick Santers produced episodes start going out because i feel if he fails to bring the EastEnders back to what it was then its finished(Even though i feel no soap is better even with EastEnders being badly at the moment).

I'd love to know why Sarah Phillips didn't write this Episode

Maybe because she doesn't exist? Do you mean Sarah Phelps?

And I think turning the death of such a legendary character into poorly planned murder mystery (look at Emmerdale to see how it's really done) is a disgrace.

So who did 'kill her' Banks? The spoiler tags are there for a reason.

Judging by Martin's actions last night, it might have been him

^I would say it was
Martin or Joe
and if it isn't them the perhaps it is the Ghost of Christmas Past, . You never know, being it Eastenders. I think we have been let down this year, it really didn't feel like a Christmas episode. I am also fed up with the Stacey/Max garbage. I mean, please, just stop... whoever is writing this. I feel as though they thought ''Oh well Max hasn't been a very important character recently, let's make him shag someone'' and it's just awful. Terrible, terrible...

By the sounds of the comments in here I think I'll stick to the excellently written Coronation Street, the fantasically camp Emmerdale and the Scottish equivalent of East-Enders - "River City".
