Great episode tonight with the girls night out, Blanche and Deirdre arguing and Ken and Deirdre getting back together.

I loved it when Doreen was going on about being partially sighted, then Blanche quipped: "Have you compensated with your other senses?" Laughing

I liked this quip about the good-looking waiter:
Dedrie, "If I were ten years younger..."
Blanche, "You'd still be old enough to be his mother!".

Probably an old one, but it was new to me and made me laugh Laughing

"You're 'ardly Douglas Bader."

Yes, a great episode for so many reasons. The ending was brill - it actually brought a bit of a lump to my throat. So nice to have a happy ending after a run of sad ones.

LOL ive heard that one before but not for a while! Didnt think much of the waiter myself.

I agree it was nice to have a happy ending for Ken and Deirdre but how long for?

Lucky Catherine Evans-Williams from Wales Tonight getting to visit the Corrie set! This is because one of the writers and one of the directors is Welsh.

Its on now on ITV1 Wales.

Its because Terry Dyddgen Jones (Director) and Damon Rochefort (Writer) are both Welsh.

Well now I think the combination of Catharine Evan-Williams, Coronation Street and HTV news will have probably sent young Jez into overload, but with the Wales Thread having been archived, here they go.

The scene when Jason drove David into the School Grounds in his van reminded me of the scene in Queer as Folk - I wonder if it was the same school.

Oh and that female teacher at David's school - SCARY!
