Oh right, seems more like a show promotion due to the background and the typeface, will be interesting to see what it is promoting...

You sure it’s not anything to do with the new show Eight Days That Made Rome?

What does a V have to do with Rome?

5 is "V" in Roman numerals, isn't it?

Ah, clearly is, it’s the same texture and colour on it as they used in the trail.

I'm not seeing those on Sky. I think I must be getting targeted adverts.

I think the others are right, it's simply 5 in Roman numerals (with 5 segments, the same as the current logo). Very Happy

It most definitely is for 8 Days in Rome. I’d be terribly worried for them if they decided to use a what looks to be a Times New Roman V as modern corporate branding...

Nothing to be sorry about. It could have been something more. It looks quite nice, maybe they will do an ident in the style before that programme.

History did something similar with a change to their ident before Vikings a few years ago.

I’ve noticed that quite a few of the debtors on last week’s Can’t Pay We’ll Take it Away have had their faces blurred on screen. There was also sound trouble where the narrator almost can’t be heard for the background music, and on one of the advert breaks there was no logo on screen, it just cut straight to a break. Seems to be rushed to get on screen. Possibly related to the Ofcom decision?

What Ofcom decision? Confused
