Channel 4 promoting The Simpsons

They've got some 18-frame Simpsons promotional breakbumpers running in some programmes - three of them played out in the ad-breaks of Scrapheap Challenge last night. They're extreme close-ups of Simpsons characters, composed of C4 blocks. So far I've seen Krusty, Marge and Ned Flanders ones. There's also a trailer, natch.

I've not seen them myself, and don't quite understand what you mean by "composed of C4 blocks". Do you mean the bits of the stylised 4 or what?

Please elaborate!

They're extreme close-ups, so that they're pixelated, and the pixels are the current Channel 4 box in different colours.

A standard trailer also played this afternoon. Not seen the break bumpers yet though!

Can i ask if anyone can capture these clips?

There is more than one trailer. I've spotted a couple, one where the scenes have been editied to say 'The Simpsons are coming to channel 4', as mentioned above and another where Homer's Doh's are edited to the theme tune.

Yeah there was about 2 or 3 on when Father Ted was on tonight.

Does show that the old 4 blocks logo does always have new ways of applying itself much like a certain 2 does.
