Theres a few changes to bid-up.tv:
Arrow The Leaderboard is back on rising price auctions replacing the top bid 'thing'.
Arrow There christmas look has started with a nice looking christmas studio (but not as good as last years.)
Arrow But we still get masses & masses of the annoying falling price auctions which could soon probably do those nice rising price auctions out of a job. Sad

I certainly prefer bid-up's set to last years, it's price-drop's that's seriously lacking - a couple of snow flakes?!?! I mean come on!

It is good to see the leaderboard make a return it was rather pointless getting rid of it even with Best Bidding people still want to know where their bid equates to in the list of bids.

And don't even get me started on falling price auctions... Rolling Eyes

I was surprised whilst flicking to see christmas already, though it isn't that far away, the fact that the Disney Channel is airing a Christmas Promo tells us that.

At least with Price Drop, it's only November, so if you email them and get a couple of others to email them, or get a few email addresses and email them with different names and locations, they may do something about it.
Haven't they even got a tree, when I flicked earlier it was a jewelery section with one snowflake over the presenters head, and that was it.

And I still don't get the falling price auction on a channel called bid UP, I'm sure it's just become a channel to conduse people like me.

I think Bid-up are using falling price auctions as these create more money for the company because pyschologically falling prices increases the saving making the falling auction end at a higher price than if people bid up for it

Noticed that the Leaderboard back too, does that mean "best bidding" is coming to an end soon?.

Also they need to get rid of those falling price auctions, it was interesting to see them for a while but now they're getting annoying due to the fact that they're on most of the time!.

I can't imagine it would be that easy to go back, they would have infrequent viewers tuning in not realising and bidding the guide price. Unfortunately I think we're stuck with it.

I have noticed that instead of the old
Rising, Falling Falling Falling, Rising

It is now more random. There could be 1 riser then 6 fallers or 1 riser then one faller.

Greg Scott said that they could of done much better this evening when they came back form the techinal fault they had at 7pm, he was commenting on some hurricane lanterns and said something like "These things are really pretty, much better than our studio they could of done better!.

Well yeah I agree! They had tinsel and barbels around the edges of the set last year could they not have dug that out again? And why does bid-up get two christmas trees!!

As I've said, they're not mind readers of the viewers. Make your feelings known, email them. They may have had a change in boss at the station within the past year.

And I really like Bid-up's two christmas trees, they're very wide, but very nice. I only noticed them today in the first wide shot that I'd seen.
Hasn't Price Drop got anything other than a few snowflakes?

Or perhaps they're building, snow flakes, then fake snow in the studio, trees and tinsel closer to december, and then snow onto the graphics (apologies if they've already got this, but I've only noticed it on bid-up).

Price-drop have a "glowing" snow effect on their buying details which fades in and out every 10 seconds.
