I agree. Breakfast needs a poof presenting Wink
It's gone downhill since Jon Nicholson departed.

Wasn't quite the reason I was imagining....

I'm definitely a Natasha man myself.

He should have stuck to business reporting though - I imagine he had some major prospects at BBC News.

Maybe he could replace Dermot on Breakfast?!

The Media Guardian article also states that BBC 3 will be ready to announce a major new series fronted by Paddy very soon, so he certainly isn't leaving the network.

I can see the reasoning behind dropping Liquid News- it's important that BBC3 doesn't get too celeb obsessed (even though liquid always presents it in a great tongue-in-cheek way). I personally prefered Celebdaq when it was less entertainment-news based and more actual share-price analysis etc. based. I don't think having it on 4 nights a week is a good plan at all...but once more I see the reasoning- as I stated in the 7 O'clock news revamp thread, there is a big pre-watershed hole in BBC3 programming, and it'll become gaping when Liquid News is axed in april.

But I sense he would have gone mad had he done that - programmes like Liquid News allow him to go nuts every now and then, and so did WBR to a certain extent. He couldn't do serious for too long - it all builds up inside him!
