I still think Catchphrase is a good format, regardless of the host. Something much more timeless than Bullseye, which I think people only watch these days for novelty and nostalgia value. It needs someone with something a bit more special than Stephen Mulhern. I reckon that Roy Walker chap would be good.

To be honest I'm sure a Roy Walker show would rate better, so if he's got all his faculties intact and he's in OK health, why not?

Failing that, I think Sean Lock would fit the Roy Walker mould perfectly.

Actually given his links to the format and given the fact he'll have more time on his hands (assuming he doesn't get another daily show) Chris Moyles might be a contender for this.

I think people have got over the big booming voiceover these days - new blood like Brian Blessed, Stuart Hall, and Tom Baker need to have a go.

I wouldn't bet on it, if it's being displayed on a ticketing site.

The logo suggests to me the set will be something like The Chase.

I used to love catchphrase with Roy (saywhatyousee) Walker but I'm sorry I can't stand STEPHEN MULHERN!!

It won't be the same. Sad

I thought that as soon as I saw it, I'm I the only one who likes Stephen and thinks he is funny? Maybe it's because I grew up watching him on CiTV Laughing
