C4 announcer on makeover show

Did anyone see 'Queer Eye For the Straight Guy' on Living TV last night? They made-over the Irish continuity announcer on Channel 4 - new clothes, new image, smartened up his house & garden and gave him a screen test as he wants to get into presenting in-vision.

The programme gets repeated on Saturday and Wednesday if you want to put a face to the voice.

Ooh. Where's he going to do that? 1985?

Oh yes - I thought you mean continuity in-vision.

Anyhoo, I'm still hysterical.

He is gorgeous and what a realy nice guy .

....And married. Anyway, I agree what a very lovely Guy Mr Barra Fitzgibbon is. I thought he was a real good sport on Queer Eye....and he did not mind stripping of and being naked on TV (Even thought Living TV covered up his bits). He did look very messy to start with (Could have at least shaved knowing TV Cameras are coming round!) But now he looks so much younger and sexier! She’s a very lucky Women Jen his wife!!

On Queer eye we saw him trying to become a TV Presenter. He's still at C4 right?? Can't remember when I last heard him. He is my fave. Just love him saying 'Film Four' and 'Widya 4'.
Well Channel 4 are showing Queer eye USA soon so I hope they show the UK one with him in it. It would be good for him to announce himself on the show.
