Where is the BBC2 programme coming from? Is it the Millbank studio as in previous years?

Not sure, it does look a bit of a mess though!

Are you being serious moz, or just passing comment...

I'm being serious in that it looks like a comedy rather than a news programme. Very gimmicky.

I'm all for using graphics to illustrate things, and for a lighter side to some news coverage, but I think news presenters dressing up is a step too far.

Are you going by the images, or actually watching it. And as light-hearted as it is, it illustrates the points very well, and so what harm is it doing...

Now I like that - and it's not just coz it's the BBC, I really do think it looks classy. A nice twist on the N24 studio.

Just shows that we all have different opinions! World would be boring if we didn't!

Its not actually the News 24 Studio I dont think. It has that chrome frosty look that News 24 has, but the rainbow colours, and a desk which looks like a spider lol.

Still find it boring just seated at a desk for the whold coverage, Sky has much more energy!

I know it's not the N24 studio - I said it was a nice twist on it, i.e. they'd copied some of the design. I wish they'd ditch the wood floor on the 1/6/10 and go for the - as you rightly decribe Martin - 'frosty' look.

I'm judging the Sky News coverage from the caps, but my criticism is that Martin Stanford has dressed up - I can see that from the caps, actually seeing the coverage isn't going to change that.

What's JT going to wear later on? Is he going to be dressed as a housewife? Laughing

That would be a sight, I guess its just to help him blend into the Virtual environment, but its all a bit of fun. All the content and statistics are there, in a fun supermarket style!

Just laugh at it, not condenm!

I think that's Millbank - looks like the studio they use for Straight Talk. Looks quite nice IMHO, compared to some of the very dull budget studios they've used in the past - some years it's just been the standard newsroom set with a bit of gauze behind the desk.

Thanks for all the captures, Martin - looking forward to seeing what the ITV special looks like!
