Newsnight would be better off at 9pm. It might gain a bigger audience.
I don't think that is a bad idea,it could act as a buffer between family safe viewing and more risqué viewing. Of course this is IF BBC3 (and BBC4) disappear.
Losing yet another hour of the BBC2 primetime schedule though would be a very bad idea - they'd have had to empty all the piggy banks and used all the cash from behind the sofa before they get to that point.
The decision to close BBC Three is being debated now on its programme Free Speech.

* Admitted the money will used for bbc 1, which is daft.
* ALL BBC three content, will be broadcast on BBC one and Two.
* He wishes to keep BBC one and two strong, with is a load of crap.....
I have only ever watched BBC Four once in my life, and that was a classic Doctor Who repeat in November 2013. I watch BBC Three almost every evening, and if the BBC Three shows go online, I most likely wont watch anymore!
