I KNEW BBC One South East would use the South Downs idents!

We get the same boring ol' Thames one though.

wow, can't wait for South East Today in widescreen!! I have WinTV 2000 (USB) software, so if you need any help, just give me a shout!

Not South East Today I'm afraid, the best I can manage is a fuzzy analogue picture. But I'll be able to do Newsroom South East in 16:9 - which looks great!

Yeah, NSE looks so much better on widescreen (I have digital too RW Smile ) , before it looked horrible, now it's so much clearer, and crisper.

Aaron, have you sorted out the sound problems yet when you captured the NSE stuff for me?

What I think might happen is that some unexperienced new technician in Tunbridge Wells will press the wrong button, proabably a self-opt button, while Laurie Mayer is saying something, and then South East Today will suddenly see Newsroom South East again!

If they pressed the wrong button, chances are you'd see UK Today rather than Newsroom SE

I mean I think they cut out some of the map in order to show just London & The Home Counties on NSE opening title sequence.

Or maybe i'm just imagining it.........

How not to explain hailstones (I think!) using partly green melons! Smile

Laurie's opinion after the bulletin? 'We'll have to get your melons checked out Kaddy!' Well, I found it funny.

Apart from that, great first show! Nice report on the history of television and more behind-the-scenes look.

Cheers, Asa

The titles were exactly the same as they've been for the past two years!

Was that the world's first see-through melon they had on South East Today?

I thought chromakey used a certain shade of green!!!

It's obvious the weathergirl had been planning her first forecast for weeks, hence the almanac!
