The first 'conventional' TV programme made by and for Radio One audiences gets a linear television outing tonight. BBC Radio 1's live lounge month is being crystallised into four one hour programmes shown at 8pm on sequential Fridays on BBC FOUR.
I suspect the commercial sector will cry foul at this. It does seem to be against the spirit, if not the letter, of the (former) BBC Trust licence for Radio 1's video service.
