Have you ever appeared in any TV programmes and what were they?

I'll start...

Some documentary about children growing up (Had the first 5 years of my life filmed at different points for some Cambridge University study/BBC documentary, aired in 1993. The BBC 2 ident used into the programme was optics Laughing )
Brookside (2 episodes, 1998)
Subzero (BBC game show, Series 2, 2001)
Anglia News (college radio station launch, 2003)
B&Q Adverts (when I worked for the company as I had media experience, 2006 and 2007)
Cop Squad (when I was Special Constable, 2011)
Question Time (asked a question in Cambridge, 2013)
Storage Hunters UK (Series 5, Episode 4 in 2015)
Brexit means Brexit (BBC Documentary, in the Election spin room at the Cambridge Union, 2017 - also appeared on the News channel/BBC News at Ten on debate night. BBC used a clip of me interviewing Damian Green(!) for the radio station I work for as part of a package and I popped up in the background on a few lives)
BBC Look East (West edition, after the burglar I tackled and caught in the early hours of Mothers Day got sentenced, 2017. I was reporting on the story for the radio station I work for as well, the rare occasion of reporting on a story and featuring in it)

I also took part in a shoot for the BBC's Great British Journeys with Nicholas Crane (I think around 2009), but they had to reshoot some of the scenes the following day due to bad lighting outside and I wasn't available, so I was replaced.

I was in the audience at Countdown, and since none of the contestants got the conundrum it went to the audience, which someone knew it, and luckily they were moved to in-front of me. I still have it on the old DVD/HDD, but I ain't uploading this ugly mug. Wink This was around 8-ish years ago.

I saw an episode of the Antiques Roadshow being filmed in Minehead last May. You could see my back in one shot, I'm waiting for the second part to air to see if you can see any more of me Razz

I have... never appeared on TV. The only consolation I have is three mentions on BBC Radio 2 and a mention on Peak FM, but that doesn't count for anything here, does it. Mad

My only ever television appearance was in 1984 when I was in the audience for the BBC children's comedy sketch show Fast Forward, where the top of my head can be seen behind a gorilla in the audience.

A still appeared during the closing credits of that edition, which used to be on TV Ark, such a terrible shame that site isn't available at the moment Very Happy

I was on the kids show 50/50 with my primary school back in 2000 when BBC Scotland was still at Queen Margaret Drive. We we're playing against a school from Inverness.

We ultimately lost, but it was a good experience none the less. To see the actual workings of seeing a program not only being recorded but being part of it at the age of 11 fascinated me.

My largest TV role was as a 'tech tester' on 5 episodes of The Gadget Show across series 23 and 24. They do keep using a B roll shot of me wearinng a VR headset though.

Apart from that I have been on radio more. I've been interviewed by BBC Newcastle for winning the Coca Cola Real Business Challenge with my school and again for some cybersafety campaign the school was doing which I believe was on 5Live. I've also presented a couple of volunteer radio shows.

A (very embarrassing) appearance in an S4C kids show about 5 or 6 years ago. My sister still teases me about it.
