The new re-shuffle is good news for me. Eastenders will now no longer clash with countdown. Although it clashes with Classic Corrie, there is always another chance to watch the omnibus on sunday afternoons

Well I'm not in favour of the reshuffle, it's a pain in the asshttp://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/shocked.gif James u will have to decide between classic corrie & Eastenders. I know which one I'd go for. Isn't a shame they canceled the Classic Eastenders Omnibus and it's a pity the box won't turn itself on when an Autoview is set. GET SKY+! That's what I'm gonna persuade my Dad to do soon!

I just wish there was
anything
worth watching on UK Gold at all! It's the only channel I subscribe to and I find I never watch it! Most of the things they seem to show are less than a couple of years old (some things less than a few months old!), and of the older stuff it's always the same safe, predictable shows all the time. Why can't we have a channel that has a wider selection of pre-1990 BBC programmes?
You'll find that some of the comedies are pre-1990, and old favourites like Doctor Who and Blakes7 are on on Sat and Sunday mornings! What I don't understand is why they put on the News Adventures of Superman, Dallas etc, all those American programmes that are nothing to do with 'UK Gold' if you know what I mean!
I like the schedule changes for a start I can watch Neighbours on BBC One and straight after switch to UK Gold for it too. One thing im not sure about is Linda Green starting on UK Gold from the 15th of January when its only been off a about two weeks from BBC One, it makes you wonder when other programes such as Beast they leave it over a year.

It is annoying the box wont switch off for autotune, but we wont be gettign SKY plus for 2 reasons-
1. We dont have SKY and mum doesnt want it
2. Even if we did SKY+ is too expensive for us to afford.

They are, but they're always the same old ones! Only Fools and Horses, Fawlty Towers, Are You Being Served, Dad's Army all seem to be on constantly. All great shows, but it would be good to see some different ones for a change!
Ive got round it. Bought a blank tape off my mum, and If I can make her remember to leave the box on, I'm taping the early morning episode as there is no announcer talking over the credits then.
