A while ago I emailed BBC Parliament to suggest that they set up an email newsletter to notify people of their occasional archive programmes and other special coverage.

I've just had an email from them saying that they are showing the Decision 79 coverage on Monday from 9am

Excellent stuff. I missed this on the last repeat.
Wish I didn't have to make do with the DTT quarter-screen, though Confused

Brilliant, as with Mr Boulton here, I missed most of it last time.

I see that BBC Parliament is planning to rebroadcast the state funeral of Winston Churchill to mark the 40th anniversary of his death, which occurs next January.

Nice one, Moz!! Laughing Laughing

That should be very interesting indeed to see. Plus IIRC it was one of the last assignments that Richard Dimbleby covered before he died later the same year, so it'll give the current generation a chance to hear a legend at work.

It was great watching him present the last Gen Election repeat Parliament did - 1967 was it? David Dimbleby is so like him!
