Ahead of the big day, here’s the cover of the Royal Wedding guide that was put together for ITV News staff involved in producing tomorrow’s programme:

Good luck to everybody.

That's nice - apart from the word 'guide'.

I know the BBC has that bubble studio thing, but who do the other two belong to? These are not joined on to the main green press area. Phillp and Julie were there today, This Morning had a seperete area at Australia gate.

I assumed ITV and Sky? The gate next to them was marked 'UK Broadcasters'. I'll consult the site plan when I get to work (very early) tomorrow.

If you mean the one at Canada Gate, the one in the middle (open-air but covered) is the one that NBC's Today Show has been broadcasting from - so I suppose they could be sharing ITV's.

Rumour has it that WAS ITV's studio, but they have swapped with NBC... (ITV presumably pocketed a nice sum - and know that nobody will be watching, and even if they do they don't make any money because there won't be any adverts?)

I see that Paul Harrison will be attending the wedding in Westminster Abbey will a few other invited journalists. Anyone have any idea who else has been invited? Presumably Tom Bradby is one of them.

Is this before or after the wedding? I imagine unslightly growths could be irritating for HD viewers.

Shrek and Wallace and Gromit?? How many bleeding times have those two been on in the past two years! Basically it's just the wedding all day then realistically.

Not that many:
Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death: 4 times (except for viewers in Scotland)
Shrek: once.

World-watchers may be pleased to note that the schedule is largely undisturbed on the day, with BBC One coverage on BBC Entertainment (formerly Prime) and BBC America. BBC Canada's website don't seem to be shouting about it, which seems odd - perhaps they don't think they'd be able to compete with CBC? (I think Peter Mansbridge could take Huw Edwards in a fight)

The owners of BBC Canada - Shaw Media, announced a while back they were going to be broadcasting the coverage from BBC One. I checked their website, it's on there now from 4am ET. In terms of audience share, BBC Canada doesn't really rate that high. It was launched in 2001 with like 30 or 40 other speciality services that you have to subscribe to individually for about 2 dollars a channel. It's a channel that runs itself, in fact they have to run Canadian content on the channel (all Canadian television channels must run Canadian content of some kind).

Shaw Media also owns Global (Canada's third national network) - they're doing an entire special, they're sending their lead national news anchor and other key reporters to London (same with CTV, they're sending two anchors, Lloyd Robertson and Lisa LaFlamme - she'll be taking over for Robertson later this year when he retires) and yes Mansbridge will be outside Westminster Abbey so we may very well have Mansbridge vs. Edwards if the circumstances were right Smile

Yeah could be. Tbh honest I don't think it matters that much where ITV have their studio and as it's costing ITV/ITN a rumoured £1m for tomorrow's coverage( compared to an apparent £2m for the BBC) so it's a clever way to make some back.

And you put a ? at the end of adverts, I wasn't sure if ITV just wouldn't have ad's during the parts fully invloving the Royal family i.e up until say 2pm, as I believe that's the only thing ITV are required to do by law. But in the ITV local news preview, Mary said something along the lines of uniterupted for 7 & 1/2 hours.

Tom Bradby has always been attending as a friend of the couple, note in the article posted from the Mirror, how it describes him as the only journalist to be in the Abbey for the ceremony. Whereas now, Harrison, as well as 24 other journalists from around the world, have also been invited.

Brian Williams flew over to London to ancnhor tonights NBC Nightly News, but because of the scale of the Tornados last night in the U.S. (over 170 in one night), he flew back to anchor the programme from New York. Matt Lauer had already arrived to join Meredith Vierer to anchor the Today Show from London, but they dropped their special Royal Wedding titles, and, obviously, have led with the aftermath of the storms.
