This must be the worst change over to the Opts ever! Wonder how you can tell that the Lookaround Opt is recorded...?

Why two people where needed for the 5 min opts is beyond me. Another example where the Border region could have had a full (even pre-recorded) 30min Bulletin with Tim and Rachel.

Great music! Why cant we have that all the time. That remixed theme is lovely, compared to that current remixed, which is now stale.

and you are the only one to like it so far. number of people found it shocking, I thought it was ok, but far to diluted.

Surely it is clearly just a 'seafaring' remix, quite appropriate for the one of special but wouldn't be for full time use.

hmmm.. From what I know it is definitely being classed as a 'Orchestral' Reworking for last nights North East Tonight and Lookaround.

That special music used again for NET, they are live in Hartlepool. Lookaround has Ben and Helen in the studio. Probably at 6.15 we will have the silly case of them introducing both regions to Pam and Ian in Hartlepool like it is a new story (which it is for Border viewers not Tyne Tees however)

Its prefer the Channel Report remix. Less generic.

I have seen that Greg Easteal is leaving Tyne Tees and Border to be 'Scotland News Correspondent' for Daybreak.

A rat deserting a sinking ship, perhaps?

Or an opportunity to go national and promotion?

Surprises me he is the 'Scotland correspondent' North of England correspondent is going to Lucy Watson of Central.
