Geoff Hill only happens to be the editor of ITV News, and a former editor of 5 News.
Never heard of either.

You're talking about him like he's George Clooney.

Are people actually they have never seen or heard of Alexandra Hill, she was previously known as Alex Hyndman, and just so happens now to be married to a certain Geoff Hill...
I wonder why she switched from the short version of her first name to the long version upon getting married.

No voiceiver for Alexandra on the late lunch bulletin just now. "This is the ITV News" used. You'd thought that for people like Alexandra, Faye Barker, Sascha Williams, Lucrezia etc they would have had a voiceover on the off chance they would need one.
Hardly surprising considering nobody has heard of her. Technically that was the lunchtime bulletin too, though presumably from what you say it ran with an opening sequence.
If it had not been for ITV broadcasting the afternoon quarter-final, there wouldn't have been a lunchtime bulletin today. On a few occasions - Sundays and bank holiday Mondays - there hasn't been a lunchtime bulletin on ITV because of sporting events, i.e. FA Cup replay, French Open Tennis.

Alexandra Hill?
Who's that?
Yes it was- she had a VoiceOver in the yellow era of ITV News.
And she's been with ITV since 2008, presenting London Tonight for ages, the lunchtime news on occasion as well as the morning news.

Yeah. Usually the 8.25, Lunchtime, Evening and Late.
I always thought there was one at 11.25, Evening and Late?
I think the 11.25am is actually just the lunchtime news.
There's not usually 4 bulletins on a Saturday though is there?

But they use the proper closing without credits instead of the weekday 11.25 closing which is a tad strange...
Whenever I watch the Saturday's lunchtime news, (11:25) they don't play the full titles because the presenter normally isn't a regular, Sascha Williams, Sally Biddulph, Alexandra Hill - so they play the summary titles used at 11:25 on weekdays which doesn't include an announcement.

Seems to have dropped in the 'ranks' the past year or two. I only ever see her present short bulletins, seems capible enough tho.
Here's is some footage of Alexandra over 5 years ago, some on the skyline set presenting with the names of Steve Scott & Alistair Stewart
