LBC News.... edited and script written direct from Conservative Party HQ. Vote Conservative, with Global.
Not in the slightest.
Oh absolutely it is. Utterly biased journalism - and please don't mention JOB who's very much of a the "champagne" vibe.
I think you're mixing up LBC and LBC News, which are two separate (sister) stations.
I've found LBC News to be very much the opposite, airing continuous fast paced rolling news with no opinions. It's actually quite refreshing to listen to, reminds me of how the news channels used to be.
LBC is a different matter as it's an opinionated talk station, but I still wouldn't say it's a Conservative station. In fact that would be a clear breach of the broadcast code. Sure some presenters favour the Tories, but there are others on the station who certainly don't.
LBC provide what they consider to be a balanced station by providing shows that are either right, left or centrist throughout the day.
Nick Ferrari and James O'Brien are polar opposites, yet have some of the highest audiences of the weekday.
LBC's rolling news station is impartial and an easy listen compared to LBC when it can be frustrating when you hear callers spouting off opinions, although the skill of the presenters is to make those calls interesting.

LBC are pretty good for balance I think, I’d say there’s a pretty even split of left and right presenters. However the presence alone of right-wing presenters will always lead the left to complain of bias, just as the presence of left-wing presenters will do the same from the right.
When the owner of Global tells his radio stations not to mention certain things (HSBC), to have tacit support of a political party, it is certainly not "impartial".

If you can spot the agenda, then its deafening (or rather for a radio station group - not).
This has been noticed and reported before - during the 'Panama Papers' about the names of tax avoiding non domeciles, oddly, Global Radio stations were told not to mention anything about it in their news bullies.
That wouldn't have anything to do with the top man who paid for Global Radio buying up the major radio assets when they went up for sale, and taking GCap off the stock market, being mentioning in those papers would it?
Naaa. Just a coincidence.
