Its interesting that when there was erroneous article published on CNN.com 3 people got fired. FoxNews.com publishes a fake news article, riddle with errors, possible collusion with the White House and involving someones brutal murder that hasnt been solved, the article is mysteriously pulled with no full explanation and no heads roll. FNC always goes on and on about the other news outlets and complains when they commit what they believe is grievous journalistic errors. But FNC. Nothing.
Not that it matters, but he had actually already left Fox News before he died, according to the linked article.
If that's the case, I wonder if both Fox News and Fox Business News will get a revamp?
Given that Fox's bid for full control of Sky is up in the air over everything happening at Fox News (especially with the added bonus of presenter Eric Bolling's suspension over inappropriate text messages to colleagues), a potential rebrand is the
absolute least
of Murdoch and co's concerns right not.
It might be the least of his concerns, but I would be surprised if it hadn't been considered as a possible way out of the crisis. This is about the 3rd or 4th time that a Fox News crisis has overshadowed or gotten in the way of, the full takeover of Sky. It might be that Rupert may choose to listen to his sons, as they want to tone down Fox News and make it more like an actual news channel, rather than a Republican talking points mouthpiece. If Fox News is no longer working in the way that Rupert Murdoch needs it to, he would quite easily change it, or even close it.
Breaking: Per Fox News Spokesperson, Eric Bolling has been suspended. An investigation will be conducted by law firm Paul Weiss. https://t.co/CvQmYzfU4O
For all it's faults, FNC excels when it comes to weather related stories. The switch to rolling news today suits the channel a lot better than having opinionated radio talk style shows.

Yeah, when they do actual news coverage, they can do it really well. Shame they do so much propaganda.
FOX News is getting a 'new" logo and on screen graphics. The clunky FNC stacked logo is going bye bye according to NEWSCASTSTUDIO. It seems they are toning down the WSVN tabloid look. The new look is much cleaner and the logo is flatter ...by FNC standards. Which graphically..... sets the bar pretty low.
A golden opportunity to completely change that logo has been lost. They have an opportunity to wipe the slate clean with not just graphics, but a completely different format.
FNC when they do rolling news has been on a par with CNN and MSNBC over the weekend and hasn't been as OTT as CNN were on Sunday. Anchoring from a middle of the storm is just nonsensical while FNC had Shep sensibly in NYC linking between the reporters on the ground.
