Liking the graphics, and Jeremy's 'studio' looks great.
Can't fault the virtual studio - giving it a "real" bit of perspective with the steps works well but the other graphics aren't impressing me. The McCain/Obama box in the looks like it's just washed out - someone turn up the contrast!!
The graphics look slightly better if you watch them with the clock and ticker over the top of them on the BBC News channel. But only slightly. They look horrible, with the little tower that looks like it's supposed to have a 3D effect, and when the state name comes up above the main aston, it doesn't line up with the tower... unless it's not supposed to? I don't know.
I'll wait and see what ITV do graphics-wise as I can't get Sky News in here - I expect their graphics to be better looking but not as informative for some reason.
I don't understand why the woman in New York was interrupted for John Simpson to tell us not very much.

The BBC graphics look a little like BBC Arabic's in the way they animated. I haven't seen Sky's yet, but someone said on another forum they cluttered up the screen.
Edit: Julie Etchingham is at the Rockerfeller Centre, close to the NBC studio at the ice rink! Also, Alistair just said they will be dipping in and out of NBC's coverage!
