Interestingly (from Next Thursday) the BBC1 Showing of Brexitcast will actually be the repeat as the News Channel will be seeing it first at 9:30pm (instead of the 2nd half of Outside Source) However i think this maybe for the launch only

Doesn't mention being a one-off for launch, also airing on BBC World News instead of Outside Source

I stand corrected! (since World News are getting it at first) and it looks like Digiguide needs to catch up (as i was going by that for the following Thursday) but yes it is indeed the same schedule for the News Channel on Thursday 19th as well!

You're saying This Week wasn't?

The cringeyness of This Week was all part of the charm - apart from Portillo's shirts.
This looks like cringeyness for the sake of looking 'down with the kidz'

If you have ever listened to Brexitcast, you'll know its not trying to be Yoof friendly. It's the "awkwardness" you get when a group of interested political geeks gather and talk about the side of political reporting you don't see during a bulletin or news update.

There was knowingness to This Week’s cringeyness though. The Brexitcast trial feels like it’s trying to hard to be funny when it’s really not and without being very interesting and unlikely to make normal people want to tune in.

You're clearly not a fan. They persistently run themselves down for being geeky and cringey. They're very self aware.

I can't wait for it. Love it.

Brexitcast has been used for filler on the NC in the past, so I'm expecting something akin to that tonight.

First broadcast at 2130, not scheduled as weekend filler yet

The only time I’ve consumed Brexitcast is when they did that weird One Show takeover which I can’t really remember. I will watch one of today’s showings and give it a fair run. I was just giving my opinion in regards to how the trail comes across to someone who’s not listened to the podcast.
