There was no opening titles or music for the TOTH beginning the 7pm hour of this news special on BBC Two, NC & World.

It started slightly early, that's possibly why. Christian welcomed viewers on BBC Two over the pictures that were already being shown on NC, they didn't take a break for TOTH. Same at 8.

Joey Jones is now speaking to Christian Fraser on BBC News outside Westminster.

Who has now popped up on CNN. They've also had Carole Walker on as they normally do for these Brexit evenings.

Boris Johnson got called off as deluded by Beth Rigby on Sky News.

She also remarked on her comments that TM should ride off on her unicorn out to Brussels with nothing in return.

Anyone got the clip of it?

RTÉ's Nine O'Clock news began with the nurses strike happening in Ireland's health service tomorrow.

Brexit has come in 2nd & 3rd respectively.

BBC One Scotland mucked it up, River City ended and announced going to BBC News for an update and it crashed into the end of Holby City which ran for another 2 minutes before they cut away to promos before the end of Holby then eventually to Silent Witness, missing the entire news update.

Don't they see network and what its showing before cutting to it? Weird.

At least someone's saying it how it is.

More importantly shouldn't there be an announced time from network for the update?

Nicky Morgan MP & Sherrelle Jacobs from The Daily Telegraph are being interviewed by Miriam O'Callaghan on RTÉ's Prime Time.

Prime Time is coming from RTÉ studios in Dublin tonight rather than at Westminster.

I've just compared on iplayer. It looks like they were too late to have the newsflash live, so they should have time-shifted back a minute, but they time-shifted back about 3 minutes instead.

Hang on, I'm confused.

So Scotland were supposed show the newsflash by airing Network on a delay, because they would have come out of River City later than the rest of the UK came out of Holby?

However, they over-compensated and thus crashed into the back end of Holby and not the news update?

Or was it that River City finished first and they crashed into Network still finishing Holby?

Do the nations now have the facility to "slide the network" in that manner and is it often used?

The first option.

I'd guess an incorrect timecode was used.

I assume they have for a long while, to be able to record while playing back the same clip has been standard functionality on video server systems for at least 20 years
