If you ask me I don't think Jane Hill works 5 days a week on the News Channel anymore - she hasn't done Fridays for quite a while if I recall correctly. Always seems to be the likes of Sophie Long, Sue Thearle, Martine Croxall etc in place of her.

I presume Sophie has taken over because she has presented the last three Fridays. Sue and Martine have filled on one or two as well.

A funny old day for BBC News presenters - Rachel Schofield and Chris Rogers on the afternoon shift right now, unusual for any day of the week, particularly Friday

Adam Parsons doing a business report about Ocado - he seems to be doing anything and everything at the moment.

He was on business at lunctime, and for a non-business presenter he didn't do badly.

That was the first report he'd done - hardly an everyday occurance.

I saw her on Sky a few weeks back and I thought to myself: I'm sure I've seen her on BBC before!
