I've recorded the Tyne Tees bulletin, but haven't checked it yet.

Saw the first bit of it, they referenced it briefly at the beginning. Assuming it was mentioned later when the email was read out.

Sadly for some reason, it recorded ITV News Anglia (East) instead, so no vid from me.

Amy Lea has clearly made an impression with the Head of News to be promoted and to succeed Pam.
She joined Tyne Tees as a production journalist in 2015 and then a reporter in 2018.
Hopefully once Amy is settled into her new role she will feel more at ease and relax her “TV” voice, although it’s not as noticeable as ITV Weather Hub’s Amanda Houston.

I wonder if Amy had some elocution lessons like Steph McGovern, which allows her to still sound as if she's from the North East, but in a clearer manner?

That’s new. Although Anglia, Channel TV and Wales have already had a catch up for a while.

The main 6pm programme for ITV Border they are unsure as to what it is actually called:

Quote:
Catch up: Watch ITV LOOKAROUND

You can catch-up with the ITV News Border programme on weekdays for 24-hours after it is broadcast on ITV. The programme is on-air at 6pm every day.

When available, you can watch the latest edition of Lookaround - covering Cumbria, Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders using the player above.

The full 30-minute ITV News Border programmes are generally available for 24 hours after the first transmission.”

Amy Lea seems a great appointment. She’s got that lead anchor quality, that not all do.
