Well isn't that you're intention with that font?

No actually, it's a font... I used it. Get a grip!

Well in that case I hope you never work in graphic design, a font can be the difference in making a brand look sh*t or excellent. And it's a bit rich you saying that I should accept constructive criticism on my mock thread, when you can't even catch the hints.

But that's not constructive critisism, it's just rude!

Sigh I guess my dry humour didn't catch on then.

Do you really believe the fonts you have chosen represent the programme? Or were they a couple of fonts you thought looked nice in the list?

Well would you say that the current font represents the programme?, would you say that the ITV font represents the channel?, would you say that the facebook font represents the website. I wouldn't they're just fonts that you use and aswell the fonts are quite femanine!

I've not watched loose women, so wouldn't know what the current logo looks like, but your other two examples I would say that they do represent what they are intended too.

Choice of font is an important element in design, as they can change the perceptions that people have about the brand and what it means. For example - here's the Facebook logo in different fonts. Look at each one in turn and ask yourself is it a brand which you would trust with your private information? Is it a modern, trendy brand, or is it old fashioned (either in a good "we're keeping to our roots" or a bad "we don't know how to be relevant anymore" way).

The reasons why the highly rated designs on here take so long to make is because you can't just pick and choose stuff and throw it on a page and hope for the best. Every element of design is important, and get it wrong and people will get the wrong idea of what you are making.
