ITV Presentation 2020

Last week ITV introduced a new onscreen presentation package which on the whole I like however I felt that the ITV logo had been destroyed to make them work. They have removed the cut-out layered ITV logo that was introduced in 2019 created by DBLG which I thought was awesome. So I wanted to see what the new presentation package would look like with the cut-out layered ITV logo and this is what I have created so far...

Very nice work. Looks slick, looks consistent with the rest of the ITV branding, and manages to promote the ITV Hub in a way which keeps the three-colour ITV logo. Very nicely executed, Alex.

Would be fun if you used the other colours ITV uses in their breakbumpers

I really like it. Like the way it animated on and also like the stencil ITV hub how it goes over the logo.
The only problem with that is that I don’t think it makes it prominent enough.
I think ITV have intentionally got both the ‘ITV’ and ‘ITV Hub’ logos together on its new endboards. I think you’d need to find a way of getting both logos on there at the same time.

Maybe the word ‘HUB’ to fade in?

Very nice. Expanding a bit from your original brief but your last two vids reminded me that I've never been a fan of this ECP style and think so much of the screen is wasted space really. I'd rather see the credits shrunk to around 2/3 and then cropped (as they were designed to be, and still are it seems) and then that gives them a bigger promo space on the right, again shrinking a full picture by about 2/3, plus plenty of room in the lower third for the text information just like in your last video. If that makes sense to you and you could do something quick to illustrate it that would be great.

Question is: Could you do similar refreshes to the rest of the ITV family (ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, ect.) to fit with the theme of consistent branding?

I think the ITV Hub logo could do with a horizontal version that could be used almost a little like All4 to highlight that the programme is also available online as the two ITV logos side by side as they are on the current presentation is a little overkill.
