Who has a 480p safe area I can use?

What on earth would you need that for? SD in the UK is 576i.

The "guide to mocking", linked at the top of the gallery home page has the standard safe area template.

The file is an SVG, which can easily be changed into any colour easily (eg with Inkscape), and besides most editing packages at least have an 'invert colours' tool.

This idea is somehow getting worse.

A giant green 2 (which is different to the 2 used by the channel), with tiny writing crammed into it, while blocking the centre (i.e. most important) part of the background image. Utterly terrible.

Not even the "BBC Two" and "Tuesday 22:00" text are aligned. And what happens when you get a long programme title? This?

(That took about 6 minutes to make. Half of which was finding a suitably long programme title)

It's not difficult to make a simple design look presentable. This took me literally a couple of minutes more...

Again - you need to spend a lot more time looking at your ideas critically before posting them. These issues are obvious to everyone.

Use the actual BBC TWO logo and not a poor mock up version, look at how you align text and also learn how to use gradients in a subtle but decent way (HINT: Google, colour theory)

Again, a brilliant example how something simple is so vibrant:

Neither. They are both terrible and need scrapping entirely.
