Interesting work, Luke, once again.

My one and only criticism with the ECP graphic is that it wouldn't cater very well for longer named shows. If Strictly Come Dancing was being promoted, for example, the start of the first word at least would be either off the page, or, at the very least, way outside of the 16:9 safe area. Unless, that is, you're planning on displaying the show title over two lines in that eventuality?

Besides that, lovely work. I like the fact that you've incorporated the new BBC Two idents package into your design and the colour picking of the logo to the, in this case, grey background. Nicely done.

I am planning that that a long show title will be displayed over 2 lines.

There are show titles that require 3 lines though, in that current design it wouldn't fit at all against the screen restraints. (Safe Areas)

Great to see a project like this developing. Some bits work, some don't, but that is what makes it all the more interesting.

In that case, the either could be made smaller, or it could be squeezed like it is on GMB.

Jeez, is it too much to ask just to comment on how it looks instead of coming up with smug comments about how it won’t work in this scenario and that scenario? I’m sure what is actually in use on the BBC right now wouldn’t be suitable if a programme with a really long name was made.

So you berate a useful and relevant comment on how it looks (wrong with a name that exceeds 2 lines), and then your own feedback is "pretty good"?

Mocks improve through receiving constructive criticism and working on these issues to rectify the problems in order to create the most suitable final product. The sharing of ideas and the development of the work as a result is the entire point of The Gallery.

Not one of the comments on this mock are smug or negative. They're helpful.

Well, this incident just goes to show that the written word can be *very* one-dimensional - and that care should be taken when the situation calls for it, otherwise trouble may occur.

With the very greatest of respect to All New Phil, had he taken care here then in all likelihood he would *not* have used "smug" or a similar adjective, and hence this incident wouldn't have occurred.

I don't mean to come across as holier-than-thou here - I'm just making observations.
