BBC News: Afternoon Live

Just experimenting with an opening title sequence idea for Afternoon Live on the BBC News Channel.

Now that looks stunning!

Excellent work - really like that. I actually think this would make a great template for regional news titles - far more interesting and polished than those we got this year.

This is absolutely brilliant. As has already been said, these would also be good for regional news titles. I'm going to expand on that and say that I want this to be the basis for national titles, and would love to see that developed. However, as a first concept, this is amazing.

Thank you all for the kind comments. Perhaps I will try and have a go at applying the same style to a national and/or regional sequence? Are there any other alterations/additions anyone would like?

Excellent work, and perfectly timed with the music. I can see this concept working for Newsroom Live too! My only suggestion would be to potentially use videos of the locations instead of static images, just to give the titles more movement. However I understand that video footage of locations are difficult to find.

But other than that, an amazing piece of work - one of the best mocks I've seen on The Gallery in a while.

Thank you, yes ideally each 'hole' would have moving footage but I just used static images on this occasion.

An idea for some BBC News Channel lower third graphics.

When I saw the image of the logo you made, I gasped at how good it was.
