Fully aware of the forum rules so thought I'd clarify from the off, I am not requesting music be supplied to me. I would like assistance identifying music that I may already have in my possession.
If anyone remembers the Landmark Weather Channel from Sky and cable between 1996 and 1998, they would use music to accompany static weather slides every few minutes. Some of it was acoustic guitar pieces, others were punchy upbeat numbers, all instrumental. I presume these were library pieces as I don't think they are commercial recordings that the US channel would broadcast.
Over the years I've accrued many hundreds of library music CD's and I've pretty much stumbled upon most familiar beds and jingles used over the last thirty years in radio and television that I in particular ever wondered about. The Weather Channel music is the last to elude me so I hope someone can help me identify it. To reiterate, I am not requesting files, merely pointers to where I might look.
Thank you in advance.
