I was just wondering if anyone has any video clips, including opening and closings etc.,of the ITN News bulletins from 1995-1999 to upload, especially the Lunchtime News?

YouTube is your best bet - Lunchtime News clips are far and few between, for some reason.

Youtube is great for those. I am struggling with the Lunchtime News. Can't seem to find the closing titlesI have only seen one opening to the prgramme.

You can buy certain news stories from ITN Source. You cannot buy full bulletins unless specifically asking for it. But don't hold your breath on that.

Personally, I do have several privately-taped 1994 bulletins of the ITN Lunchtime News - that sounds more dominant and serious than ITV Lunchtime News . One presented by John Suchet and Nicholas Owen. Odd pairing, but they were good.

You can buy news bulletins from ITN Source, I notice. Two problems, though, for it. The disclaimer says: "A burnt-in time code will be distributed along with a charge". The charge varies, but does usually start at £100.

I never knew that!! Can you tell us more please? Like do they send it to you on DVD?

Thanks.

If you go on to ITN Source, it says you can buy anything that is on their website. I know ITN do both VHS and DVD - it depends on what you buy.

However, you have to specifically ask if you want the full bulletin or just certain parts For the price they charge, I always ask for the full bulletin but that is how to make a nice profit . The most expensive order query I made cost £900. Needless to say, I didn't take it up.

One final foot note : I believe you are not allowed to put your news purchase over the Internet otherwise I would think you will be rebuked for doing so.

I should have written news stories rather than news bulletins . Sorry if I got your hopes up.
