I believe those copies arw very good rips.
IT
forcefield is Normaly protected very well by copyright people... it was often requested on here only to be shot down. It wasn't until the iPhone game came out that the tracks leaked out.

Many thanks for all your help with this I have now got the tune from you tube, Worzel I makes sense that the same guy who did Interceptor and Treasure Hunt did the Crystal maze as I believe these were all Chatsworth TV productions for C4, Now I just need to see if I can find a clean version of the Theme to Mrs Browns Boys

Interceptor was an ITV programme, made by Chatsworth and Thames.
Laurence also did other work besides TV themes, not just a one trick pony

..and Zack is now working on a new package for the Crystal Maze 2017 with a remix of the music

I have to agree that the theme is good as it is. but it would make sense to have a series, it must have cost a fortune to rebuild the set again after all these years, I think I read somewhere it cost them a quarter of a million just to demolish the set at Aces High when the last series finished, it must have cost the an arm and leg at todays prices to rebuild it in what ever studio was used for the stand up to cancer special one off, could have been aces high I believe the studio still exists.

2017? Are you aware of something we aren't? The celeb special is airing next month so what's coming in 2017? Nothing has been announced by Channel 4 or any production company yet.
Also, a remix of the main theme sounds like a bad idea. There's nothing wrong with the current version.

Obviously got his dates mixed up, the only significance to 2017 is the attraction in London, which is apparently booked solid now up to March 2017.
Of course if Mr Laurence wants to remix the Crystal Maze theme in his own time for fun, that's entirely up to him. I'm expecting a remix or variation for the one-off special though, as opposed to the original theme.
Have you not paid attention to any of the press releases? It states quite clearly the one-off was filmed at the current attraction in London. The original set was dismantled years ago.

Hi
I would think most of the writers of TV theme and incidental music will have other strings to there bows as it would not make them enough cash just doing TV music, mind you when they get a commission to write a TV theme it must be very difficult as the writer needs to catch the theme of the show from only what he or she gets on paper from the producer, as the music needs to be ready before the show airs so the writer cannot work from any visual reference points, I can just imagine what went through Lawance's mind when Chatsworth went to him to come up with music for treasure hunt, ok the idea is this we are going to have some one In a helicopter flying round the UK, and back in the studio there will be 2 contestants and the other presenter solving clues to get the presenter in the air to the next clue In the hope of solving all the clues in one hour to win some cash.

Many composers go on to make film scores, I do know a few get rather annoyned if you only ask about there TV themes
