Just a brief question about BT's Premier League rights. Currently Sky have there Football First programme which is an interactive based match choice extended highlights service and Goals on Sunday which shows very brief highlights. Meanwhile BBC have MOTD. My question is with the rights that BT have now acquired, what do these allow them to do in terms of highlights? For example could they do a programme similar to Match of the Day if they so wished?

Presumably they will have one or two additional showings of their matches, albeit at strange times, as ESPN do. As rights holders they'll also get the FAPL international package featuring all games highlights from Tuesday of the week following the fixtures. Of course BT will be distributing these games by IPTV so I'd expect BT Vision / BT YouView customers to get access to whole match action on demand additionally.
