Hi there.
Basically I'm after some of your help, expertise and good will.
I'm representing something called 'PRIAM' which is our schools information and messaging system, run through 5 screens in the different buildings.
It serves to keep the kids up to date with everything that is going on around the school and the outisde world as they go between lessons and at lunch/break etc.
Using PowerPoint we show a series of original features that are supplemented by the contributions of teachers and pupils (adverts).
Since we took over operating the service back in October last year we have adopted a tv style format. e.g. our features, then some of their adverts, back to our features, some more of their adverts etc
Features that are currently airing/have recently been aired include;
- What kind of social networker are you?
- Exam Helpdesk
- Game Over?
- The Great Big History of the Smiley
- Phones of the Future
- Films that changed your life
We also show newspaper front pages, sports reviews and news headlines updated daily.
We have recently gone under a major overhaul so that all of the slides now include a flipper and dog.
What I am here to ask of you today is whether anybody would be willing to produce a video introduction and a picture background for our upcoming series following the election of the Head Boy/Head Girl.
Unfortunately at this time I can not offer any financial reward as we have recently had to spend in excess of £600 upgrading some of the networking devices. It goes without saying however, that you will be credited for any of the work that you do with logos, adverts etc. We are a very highly reguarded aspect of school life, and there is genuine pride and interest in what we dp.
This is our schools premier event, and we want to really up our game.
If you want to know more about what we are after or what we do then pm me. We will be meeting as a team on Thursday so I would like to have some feedback if you are interested by then.
Although it is around 6 weeks to the actual elections. There's plenty of time!!

p.s. Credit to SN2005 for his work and help just before Easter - alot of your ideas have made it onto the small screen.
