In the style of Jonny's ident remixes, I've done a few as well, I hope you like them.

I was experimenting with different idents to see if other idents worked alongside them, and this is what I came up with.

I wouldn't necessarily call them mock idents, but I found some interesting combinations as you can see.

Why not? It's quite fun I think, especially to see how different an ident can be with a new soundtrack.

Yeah, they're just a bit of fun and (usually) work surprisingly well. About a year ago I'm sure I posted my first remix on here which showed how the Central 'Globe' ident would have looked if it had used the HTV 'Aerial' soundtrack.

Anyway, these work well Rob, good job Smile

Oh and while I'm here...

I see these sort of 'mashups' all the time on YouTube, very few impress without being truly clunky and this isn't an exception.

While obvious, I always thought switching the soundtrack on the BBC2 Blade with that of Powder worked particularly well.

That's my one gripe (albeit very slight) with the Blade proper - the audio is effectively just a short sound effect; once it has settled down, that's it - unlike the other symbols of the time the score doesn't run the full 55'' duration. Still an extremely clever bit of sound design though.
