Hi There
Here are my mocks for the new look CITV (I know about them changing there name but I wanted too do this). There would be a Citv for big kids and one for younger kids (I cant think of a name).

I hope you like them, I am proud of them but would like to apolgise for the lines and things again, they will not be there on the TV screen.

The 'C' is nice but the 'itv' lets it down slightly. What about using the original 'itv' font but on a different background?

Apart from that, they're mighty fine!

Yeah, I tried that but I thought it suited the kids better to have there own font, but i will try again.

They do look very aged.

Also i'm sure you'll notice when you look at Channel logos is that they don't have THAT many colours in them. Simple yet effective is the way forward. Look at the BBC, ITV logos and all them. You seem to have ever colour in the spectrum there, it's a bit too much. Make it simpler.

The CITV font I used was called Starsky and Hutch so It was supposed to be retro.(I counldn't find a better font) That is probably why it looked aged.

In answer to the too many colours comment, I agree sort of, because when I was creating these mocks the Yellow looked very bland.

I did this mock a few days ago and have tried to improve it ever since.

i dont like them. See, a DOG is ment to be somewhat transparent! This one looks to block nearly the whole screen (but the 2nd isnt that bad)

The DOG's could also have some colour like nickelodeon.

I knew the DOG would be to big and needed to be a bit transparent but I got my idea from when CITV had that big Yellow circle with CITV in the corner.

There is something about those mocks I don't like!

Pretty much all of it really - I see no hope in the concept.
