Brand new ITV Look

Here is my Idea of a new ITV 1 Logo:

Now here is an idea for an ident. The bars appear by droping down from top (like on strings)

Then the cheeky lads come on screen, start laughing and then rob off with the bars !

I will come up with some ITV 2 stuff soon.

Not too fond of, sorry.
The logo is TBH - ugly. It's a peculiar shape and just doesn't work.
The first ident shot looked quite promising - it's screaming OSX at me, but it's good nonetheless. The celebrity idea doesn't seem to fit in, certainly not your example anyway - too much cheese.
A nice attempt though, but look at a different way if you're planning to not do a gener..*ahem* graphic ident.

I'll try to make some more ITV 1 idents without the stars and I will update the logo.

The idea's not bad but I'm struggling to imagine how that logo could be done in the safe areas unless it's going to be floating in a 16:9 frame

They will all use the same animation, bars slide from side first, then bars drop down from top second, then everything else falls in there respective positions.

Incoherent. What is the idea behind it?
