Some of you may remember about a year (and going on for many more) I started work on a BBC World Dynamic Junction based screensaver. I've restarted the project with the intention of finishing it over easter.

However I've re-animated the globe and basic layout and as I've only got youtube as a reference I wondered if anyone had any thoughts on the style/colours so far. I've now fixed the colour and got a full "loop" out of it.

The text on the video looks a little weird because I had to colour key it rather than alpha as it didn't render properly. The real data would be rendered by the screensaver once its finished.

Looks great, but one small issue - When world were using the 1999 bumper they also had radio waves on the globe instead of the ribbons, as shown here. Otherwise, good work!

Very good to see this revived - I've abandoned a couple of attempts at a similar idea, but obviously none came close to the polish that your WiPs have displayed Smile
That being said, I'm lazily working on a version of the current breakfiller, even though it's fab-factor has been signficantly diminished post-'dynamic junction'.
