It's a great mock.
BUT - if we're talking technicalities - you've missed off all the cities south of London and Cardiff. Where are Plymouth, Southampton, Bristol etc.? These are BBC regional centres, not to mention major cities, so should be on the map.

An excellent effort here, very well put together and looks just like the actual BBC titles, but therein may lie a problem...
You've actually titled your thread as a relaunch vide but you do correctly point out that really it is a 'tweak' really. Obviously the music is quite different though and I think it fits well.
It would be fantastic if you could both take all that design and programming skill and actually come up with something completely different, something we haven't seen before in one incarnation or another..... I think thats the hard part. we have a lot of excellent mockers here on the forum, but fewer actual 'visionaries'
I'd love to see what you guys could come up with originally, or maybe I'd love to get involved with your next project by storyboarding some new content, Like I say, it really does look like you have the other bases covered.
Well done with the work guys and PM me if your interested on me doing some storyboarding for you.

Indeed, I have loads of new ideas and concepts. I, as the animator, felt that the music was aptly suited to a tweak, not a new concept.
However, I totally share your opinion. Lots of people on the forum possess the skills, yet lack the design flare employers so desperately want. Anybody can learn XSI or Maya/3D Max. Design flare is paramount, integral, essential - and truly scarce.
