1. Make it larger, 640x360 pixels
2. Remember Safe Areas
3. Tone the red effects on the N24 lettering, possibly make it white as it currently blends with the background.
4. For the HD one alter the background images, as you have a contradicting BBC News logo
5. Make sure no font is above size 12 on astons.

Far too bright and garish and not appropriate for Channel Four news let alone the BBC.

Im sorry but I'd argue that these are some of the worst mocks I've ever seen posted.

I want to say you can improve it but you can't polish a **** so best advice is to at least dump every godawful effect you applied and at least try and get the basics right and do something halfway original. One you have then you can fart about but unless what's underneath is any cop it's going to be terrible.

Sometimes I wonder whether people post mocks like these because they've drank too much, they've been dared by their friends or they're just blind as to just how bad their creation actually is.

Think about it, seriously. If this turned up on News 24 tomorrow and you'd never seen it before, would you applaud it or would you slate it?

Basics: It's a news channel, not a neon advertising sign. So treat it like a news channel. Just imagine this bright thing sitting on your screen at the televising of a state funeral. Doesn't work, does it?

Still a bit too nightclubby like but looking more broadcastable now.

Please don't mix your styles especially on related pieces of text. Either have the whole name bold or don't bold it at all.

What is the black thing across the top of the first image supposed to be please?
