BBC mockups

My first ever mockup- this is suppose to reflect a mature bbc.bbc1 mockup

The text is unreadable, and would be even more unreadable on an SD TV set.

The designs are OK, but don't really say anything about the channel.

How do these represent "mature"..?

Not keen on the font and the way the text is on the left however it's still good though, I quite like it. (Number 2 that is)

It's ok, I guess, safe areas lacking though, not exactly mature.

Don't like the white on the pale blue - I've done it before and it was unreadable.

Also, the colour scheme for BBC One. Red logo with a blue backing. Don't get me wrong, sometimes it works, but not this time. The idents' backing and dancers' clothes are all red, so this colour theme is really strong, and then you've used a blue background on your mock.

Finally, the layout is a bit confusing. It has Y's time at the top, Z's after, but X's at the bottom.

This may sound a bit harsh, but keep at it, you have some good ideas.

My thoughts exactly, the red and blue clash way too much.

Maybe this would suit BBC THREE (the first one) more than BBC ONE?

I do like the colours and the look but the times and programs seem a bit jumbled - like, I understand the programme coming on next being separate in big letters with the VT on the right but the other two seem a bit jumbled up with the boxes around one thing and then the other one being bigger on the top and its just all so confusing

I suppose it's the basis of an idea to develop upon.
