William. If you get an external Mic rather than relying on the mic on the camera, the quality will be improved no end.

At the moment the sound lets down what is a very polished product

Marcus. Thanks for your comments. It has already been pointed out and I have found (and won) an item on ebay. I have not got it yet as PayPal is playing up and the credit card statement has not arrived (even after a month!) Does any one know where I can get one of these microphones, which would plug in to a Sony camera via a jack plug.

Would this work with a Sony Video Camcorder? (It has has a jack socket)

Uses a 1/4 inch jack - so it depends what's on your Sony.

I know perfectly well who I'm talking to thank you Mr Harvey. Anyway, I do not care what people think. As I say on the site, it is a family thing and meant for family. By all means other people can watch them but I'd ask them to remember, that although they may find them sad, they are not meant/designed for them.
