This is the icon referenced in the code: https://rmp.files.bbci.co.uk/playspace/img/favicon.ico

I suspect you have some sort of cache issue.

Well I have went to BBC Sounds on a newly downloaded browser just to check and I'm still getting the proper favicon... When I visited it on my normal browser, I had never visited BBC Sounds or BBC iPlayer before on it, so don't see how I have a cache issue with something I've never had a cache of!

The BBC Sounds app is now being rolled out internationally, replacing the iPlayer Radio app: https://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/internet/entries/166dfcba-54ec-4a44-b550-385c2076b36b

While the World Service is, obviously, available globally - I'd naively thought the domestic radio services might be geoblocked online, like iPlayer. Is this an opportunity to raise extra revenue for radio? The British public tend not to appreciate that radio is also funded by the Licence Fee. Some sort of payment outside the UK may help the BBC increase global revenues to expand its commercial income long-term.

Yeah I've been using this on my Samsung TV - it's pretty good, but still missing some functionality, like being able to access 'my sounds.'

Does anyone have trouble with the streams cutting out every now and then when listening in a browser? No matter what local station i try to listen to or national station the stream always cuts out/stops when listening in a browser causing me to reload it.

Yes, I get that quite a bit using Firefox on Windows. What browser are you using?
