In the absence of making any decent Saturday night TV, ITV will be showing a programme about Saturday Night TV. Similar to what they did with the Gameshow Story & Talent Show story.

To be fair those series have been far more entertaining than many of their recent efforts. Keep it in the Family gets a second series this Saturdat at 7pm - I'd be surprised if it got a third. Ninja Warrior is also filming in the next couple of weeks so I'm guessing that's being lined up to air sooner rather than later - the turnaround was pretty quick for the first series so wouldn't be surprised if it's paired up with The X Factor live shows, although really it would make more sense to hold it back to January where ITV have nothing really for the 7pm slot.

Keep It In The Family is one of their better efforts recently, although I'm going to put that down to Bradley Walsh. I like the idea of a Saturday Night retrospective show though. Just a shame they've got Mulhern doing the VO. Surely there's somebody else...

How many episodes are in this new series? Hopeful 8.

It says it's a two-parter. It's a shame it's not longer. I have a feeling it'll be pretty brief over two hours. The Game Show Story had four.

I thought tonight's newly recorded introduction by Paul O'Grady for 'The One and Only Cilla' was very well done, considering the circumstances. O'Grady walked down the steps of Studio 1 at The London Studios, appropriately enough, with the seating serving as the backdrop - draped in sombre lighting.

The end was as appropriate when they faded out of Cilla's performance into a photo of her with a black background with no credits.

Showing Ninja Warrior with X Factor is probably a big no-no. If it were to air after X Factor (before a same night result show) then Rochelle Humes would be on The Xtra Factor and Ninja Warrior at the same time. And putting it before X Factor would probably put it up against Doctor Who, which quite frankly would be suicide.
