Would this warrant STV News to go into rolling coverage? Would make it make sense for STV Glasgow to go into rolling coverage on its own until the full network ramps up to a full broadcast and then they do a simulcast across all channels?
Since the BBC, STV, Sky all have office and personnel in the area and Glasgow being a major UK city why doesnt have anyone live images? Amazing. Does it make sense to have sky cams in the major squares and skylines across the major cities in the country? Maybe they can make that investment. Its not that expensive to build a live webcam network. Wonder if its against OFCOM rules to have it sponsored to help with the costs (probably not). WBMA-Birmingham AL uses a camera network sponsored by ALFA insurance. They actually sponsor 3 cam networks in 3 states.

Arent there any LIVEU (etc) packs they can grab and go to get pics up immediately.
Of course the BBC is still saying "serious incident" over and over....
